Welcome to Green Elementary's Art Room! Here you will find student projects, contact information and information on upcoming art contests and camps!
This year we're trying out a choice-based model in the art room that will allow students to explore various materials at their own pace and come with their own projects! We are currently in the process of introducing the different centers each week so new art will hopefully be on display soon!
SNOW DAY Activities! If you're running out of things to do on your snow days, take this opportunity to brush up on your art skills! Here are a few ideas: 1) Draw a snowman. Use a white crayon on colored paper if you have it. Add details and accessories. How can you make it look 3-D? 2) Show action by drawing people sledding or in a snowball fight. How can you make things look like they are moving? 3) Make your own snowflakes! Fold a piece of white paper into 1/4s (or more). Cut out designs from the sides and top (not the whole crease or point that holds it all together), and then unfold! Every snowflake is different and perfect in every way!
